Jaime Fiorito

Balearic Dj and music Aficionado

Born in the sunburnt chaos of Ibiza in the late ’70s, Jaime Fiorito emerged from a melting pot of hippies, hedonists, and cultural visionaries. The island was alive with flower power and the crackling pulse of a new era, but Jaime’s true education began with his father, DJ Alfredo—the definitive pioneer of the Balearic movement. By day, Jaime roamed the sandy trails of Salinas beach roads. By night, he listened in the backroom of Amnesia, the echoes disco, Belgian New beat, rock, new wave, electro, reggae, and early US and UK House, laying the foundation for the Balearic Beat.

At 14, Jaime hustled mixtapes on the dancefloor of Pacha, trading cassettes for cash under the laser-lit haze of early ’90s decadence. He started djing in 1996 and by 2001, got a job as a resident DJ for Manumission’s notorious afterparty “Carry On” at Space (now Hï Ibiza), where he confidently blended House, Italo, and Balearic Beats on the open-air terrace.

The next two decades were a blur of fun, beats, sweat, and experimentation. Jaime immersed himself in music while exploring distant cultures and landscapes between his travels. His notable residencies at venues like La Granja Ibiza and Tulum Treehouse brought magic to eclectic audiences.

Jaime Fiorito isn’t just a DJ; he’s a Balearic aficionado, storyteller, and keeper of the flame that ignited a global movement. To hear him play is to step into the wild, uncharted territory of your own soul—untamed, free, and vibrating with life.
