Interior Designer and Creative Director

Rodrigo Izquierdo is an interior designer with an established career in hospitality, retail and residential design. With over 20 years of experience, he combines creativity and strategic vision to create unique spaces that offer memorable experiences.

He graduated with honors in Interior Design from Eina, Escola d’Art i Disseny in Barcelona in 2001 and began his career working with Sandra Tarruella & Isabel Lopez Studio, contributing to hospitality and luxury residential projects. His desire to broaden his experience led him to Italy in 2005, where he expanded his international perspective and gained further expertise.

A key chapter in his career was his role as Creative Supervisor of the Architecture Department at Studio Patricia Urquiola, where he worked from 2005 to 2017. During this time at the studio, the team grew from 6 to 60 people, reflecting his ability to coordinate and manage large-scale projects. He oversaw the creative direction of major hotel projects for renowned brands such as Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental, and W Hotels. His experience in luxury hospitality design allowed him to develop a personalized approach for each project.

In 2017, Rodrigo founded his own studio, where he continues to apply his creative and strategic approach to projects that combine aesthetic design and functionality. Currently, the Rodrigo Izquierdo Studio is involved in several projects in the hospitality, restaurant, and retail fields, bringing an innovative vision characterized by customization and attention to detail and materials.
